HIT Riverside Jazz Queen of Motion CD, UCD, RA, TT, CGC
Jazz was our 13&1/2 year old Flat Coat Retriever. She was my first Flat Coat and our only so far, but hopefully not our last. We rescued Jazz from the pound as a seven-week-old puppy. Jazz was a great addition to our family. She was such a loving girl and we could not have asked for a better temperament. She loved to work, even at her age. Over the years, she has taught my Dals how to behave and I attribute a lot of their temperaments to Jazz.
Jazz would have made a great service dog. When my mom was very sick with her diabetes, Jazz would not leave her side. Jazz stayed by her side twenty-four hours a day and would wake her up every hour. When my mom got tired of Jazz bugging her, she locked her out of the room and Jazz still would not give up. She went and found my dad to make him check on my mom. We firmly believe that Jazz saved my mom from going into a diabetic coma.
Jazz truly made us fall in love with the Flat Coat breed. She is definitely a once in a lifetime dog.
