2018

Wow can’t believe it’s 2018! I feel this is going to be a fabtabulous year here at Fireday! We will hopefully have a litter this spring/summer here and we have some exciting breeding plans outside as well so stay tuned for all that. I am going to work harder at doing at least a weekly blog post to keep everyone up to date on what’s going on here. In the social media frenzy world we live in I often forget that just because I’ve posted to Facebook and update my page doesn’t mean I should update stuff here as well so that is my plan.
Hope everyone had a wonder holiday season. Still so surprised 2017 is over. All and All it was a great year. Chaos showed his last year in juniors with his buddy Carson. They did great and finished out the summer show season qualifying Carson for Eukanuba along with his Rottie friend Eska. Carson and Eska went to Florida and had a great time and looked amazing!
Later this year Chaos’ boy Dennis will be old enough to do juniors and he is super excited to show his dog! They will also debut in Rally together at the end of the year.
Chaos has been focusing on Obedience and Agility and we are looking forward to Colorado in May!
Below is Dennis and Chaos working some obedience fun together.
Cant wait to really watch those 2 get going in performance and conformation.
Well that’s all for tonight.
Have a wonderful night and Happy New Year to all of you from Fireday Dalmatians

Well, we are very happy here at Fireday! My babies did very well at their last dog show of the year here in Alaska!! I decieded to show them both in Bred-by this weekend, with it just being a one day show I thought why not try it. Lady did not like waiting her turn but thankfully I have some really good friends that held her or should I say put up with her!! Chaos did very well, always my little... show boy and went Major Reserve and then it was Lady's turn, thank goodness I had a class between having to go back in, Lady won the her class then went on to Winners Bitch for her first Major!!! She also was Best of Opposite Sex!!! So all in all we had a very good weekend!

Wow, sorry it has been so long since I have updated. It has been a little busy here.  Where to start. Well we got to add 2 new wonderful families to the Fireday bunch and I am super excited about that! Risky (Light Blue Boy Black) and Aja ( Lime Girl Black) have gone to there new homes. They both went out on the same night and both flight went so well. I couldn't be happier with them. Risky has gone to a wonderful first time dal owner who wants to give start showing again so I am so happy with that. Aja went to a long time dal family and she is loving being loved!! I love all the pictures of all of my babies! I feel so lucky and blessed to have them all keep me so involved in there lives.
I still do have 2 sweet sweet boys looking for homes. Our lovely Moose (Brown Boy Liver) and Brownie (Yellow Boy Liver). They would really be great additions to any family and my husband seems to think that Moose will be staying here with Lady and Chaos. I would really love to keep them all but just know that it would not be fair to them. Keeping 2 is going to be challenge enough but 3, no way!! I love that he loves them but I know what is best for them. I really hope some great homes will come along for them.

Puppies got there shots and all did very well! Thank you to my friend Janet for coming over to help with them. I am still working on getting Pat to help me with pictures. We are still looking for homes for a couple of puppies.
I am really starting to get a feel for who each of them are. I am loving who they are and the little dogs they are turning into! I really couldn't be happier with them. I feel truely blessed with the way this litter has turned out. I can see which ones are going to have great proformance futures and who is going to love sleeping at the foot of their little kids bed. I really think all and all they will all be happy with whatever lies ahead for them.
Got my 2 all set up in the dog room with crates, thank you again Janet and they spent the day in there while I took Skip to the vet and Denny to play with a friend. They whined a little but seem to calm down and go to sleep. Tonight will be the real test.
Any inquires are welcome. Thank you for letting me share.

Some pictures have caption just click on them to see! Thanks

8 weeks and going...

WoW!! I can't beleive just over 8 weeks ago my dreams finally came true! After 8 years of trying to get a little of Dalmatians puppies it happen! I got my first litter! It is still all so amazing to me, I never really thought it would happen but it did. I guess what they say is true, when it rains, it poors! We got enough puppies for 3 or 4 litters!
I couldn't of been more surprised! 10, 10 puppies. There has been some hardships, heart aches and amazing fun! It all comes with breeding dogs I guess.
It has been a world wind 8 weeks, but puppies are starting to go. We had one go on Wednesday and 2 went to their new homes today! I could not be happier with these homes. Both families have waited 6 years for me to have a litter. It is like they have been on this adventure with me. I am so happy they both waited. They are all amazing people and I feel that for Fireday's first homes I couldn't ask for better people.
We are still looking for some homes. I have 3 boys and 1 girl still available. I feel that they all have such amazing personalities. I couldn't be more happy for my first litter. I feel that they will all succide in anything they do. I hope that some will go to Agility homes and maybe even some therapy or performance homes but I guess don't we all.
I'm looking forward to having a week home with them so I can get some one and one time with them. I will try to get them all outside on leashes this week and hope to get some stack shots.
I have seperated mamma dog but she is still wanting to be in there with them, I am so surprise that she has been letting 9 puppies still nurse at 8 weeks!! I want her to dry up. I had plan to start getting her ready for the next obedience trails but we have had Kennel Cough going around so bad here that I am not going to be able to work her so not going to trail her. Oh well, I know the CDX will come.
Sorry to go on and on but it has been awhile and it has been a big week!!! I will be adding some fun pics to the puppy page. Loving everyday with these guys. Thanks for letting me share. Please feel free to commett on pictures .

Had a wonderful visit with Meg Callea! Thank you for willingness to come up and help me BAER test my puppies.
We have both great news and sad news. I guess there is know is no easy way to say that I did end up with 1 deaf puppy, I had my suspections but was glad to have them comfirmed by the test. But the great part is that the other 9 were all BiLateral hearing!!! I couldn't really be happier with that. I feel that it could of been alot worst then it was.
The sweet little boy has joined his Grandma Princess and his Aunty Flat-coat Jazz at the rainbow bridge tonight.
I will always love you my sweet little orange boy...

WOW! This guys are sure growing like weeds! I am just amazed that they are over 6 weeks old allready.
Time has sure flown by and I can't believe how much they are turning into little Dalmatians! Getting the BAER test done tomorrow, thanks Meg for coming up to do that! Can't wait to see what Meg thinks of them. It is really hard not having anyone here to do them.
Had a great friend come over and help me with 6 week stack shots so I will be adding them and hopefully Meg will help me get some great shots of them. I am still looking for show/companion homes so please if you are looking let me know! You can fill out a form here or email me at fireday2002@hotmail.com.
I have to say I couldn't be happier with the way they are growing and what they are turning into. I am so happy with all of them and going to have a hard time choosing one for myself!!! I feel that there are some real winners in there!
